A man was found dead laying in an apartment complex in Alhambra early Thursday morning and a suspect in his death was arrested, according to the Alhambra police.
Alhambra police were notified about some sort of fight going on in the 800 block of West Marino Avenue at 2:47 a.m., Alhambra police Sgt. Jerry Johnson said.
Officers responded to an apartment building at 821 W. Marino Ave. and discovered a 35-year-old man lying on a walkway on the complex grounds, Johnson continued. The downed man was not a resident of the complex.
Paramedics were called but could not revive the victim and his body showed no signs of injury, Johnson said. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
Detectives then identified 26-year-old Michael Osuna as a person of interest in the case, Johnson said. He was arrested about 4:15 a.m. and booked on suspicion of murder.
Osuna is being held at the Alhambra police station in lieu of $1 million bail. His arraignment is scheduled for Monday, Johnson said.
