A 16-year-old boy and girl were rescued Thursday night by city firefighters after getting lost while hiking on a trail in Tarzana.
The incident began about 7:35 p.m., said Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The teens became lost on a remote hiking trail on Eagles Nest near 3600 Reseda Boulevard in Tarzana, Scott said.
Firefighters located the pair, who were uninjured, Scott said. A LAFD helicopter lifted them to safety and they were reunited with their relieved parents.
