A fire left a two-story Granada Hills house uninhabitable Monday, but no one was injured.
The flames were fueled in part by a Christmas tree, but investigators seeking the cause of the blaze at 17442 Blackhawk St. determined that the tree was not the origin of the fire, said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
It took 41 firefighters 48 minutes to put out the fire, which was reported at 12:22 a.m.
A damage estimate was not immediately released but damage to the two-story house was severe. The cause of the fire was still under investigation.
