A man suffered non-life-threatening wounds in a shooting at a mobile home park in El Monte Thursday afternoon.
Officers responded about 5:15 p.m. to a report of shots fired and a man down in the 10400 block of Valley Boulevard, El Monte police Lt. Ben Lowry said.
The victim was taken to a hospital.
Neither he nor two friends who were with him were cooperative with investigators, so no suspect description was available and it was unclear what motivated the shooting, Lowry said.
