
A suspect was wounded in a deputy-involved shooting in Santa Clarita Thursday night.
No deputies were injured in the shooting, which occurred about 7:50 p.m. in a residential area near Nathan Hill and Shangri-La drives, according to Los Angeles County sheriff’s Deputy Ryan Rouzan.
The suspect’s gender, age and condition were not immediately available and it was unclear what prompted the shooting, Rouzan said.
Firefighters responded to the scene, but did not take anyone to a hospital, according to a dispatch supervisor with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
