Authorities Monday identified a young man found shot to death in the Mount Washington area, and sought public help to solve the crime.
Officers sent to the 4700 block of North Figueroa Street about 12:15 p.m. Sunday found 19-year-old Kaelyn Michael Tarin wounded inside a tent, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.
Paramedics took Tarin to a hospital, where he died. Police were unsure of a motive for the crime. Additional information about the killing was not yet available.
