A suspicious package prompted a sheriff’s department investigation at a Canyon Country movie theater Thursday, but it turned out to be nothing threatening.
Deputies were called about 3:45 p.m. to the Edwards Canyon Country Stadium 10 at 18800 Soledad Canyon Road, according to the watch commander at the sheriff’s Santa Clarita Valley Station.
The all-clear was given about 7:20 p.m. after the package was found to be no threat, the watch commander said.
