Police released video surveillance footage Wednesday in hopes of tracking down a man and woman accused of mail thefts in Studio City.

On Dec. 12 at 3:13 a.m., the pair entered a residential complex in the 3900 block of Carpenter Avenue and used a key to open mailboxes. They selected envelopes from 18 mailboxes, then put the mail into a backpack the woman was carrying, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The man was described as white, about 30 years old, around 6 feet tall and weighing 170 pounds, with a shaved head. He was wearing a black hat, dark hoodie, dark pants and black tennis shoes.

The woman was white with blonde hair, about 5 feet 6 inches tall and 120 pounds, with distinct tattoos on the top of her hands. She was wearing black framed eyeglasses, a blue sweater, black pants and white tennis shoes.

Anyone with information about their identities was asked to call Detective Joseph Hampton or Noah Stone at (818) 754-8381.
