El Monte Police asked for the public’s help Thursday to find a man who robbed an Arco station.
The robbery at the station at the San Bernardino (10) Freeway and Baldwin Avenue occurred at 11:50 a.m. on Jan. 28, said El Monte Police Sgt. Richard Luna.
The robber brandished a blue steel shotgun at the store clerk, demanded cash and got away with $60, Luna said. He was driving a four-door 1998-2000 Nissan Altima that may have been gold, Luna said.
The robbery was captured by the store’s surveillance system.
Anyone with information on the crime is urged to call El Monte Police at (626) 580-2114. All tips can be submitted anonymously.
