A man was wounded Sunday in a shooting in the Mid-City area.
The victim was shot about 2 p.m. in the 1500 block of South Mansfield Avenue, just north of Venice Boulevard.
He was taken to a hospital and was in serious but stable condition, according to Officer Mike Lopez of the Los Angeles Police Department‘s Media Relations Section.
It was not immediately determined if the shooting was gang-related, he said.
