Sheriff’s detectives in Palmdale asked for the public’s help Thursday to find a 22-year-old suspected car thief also accused of making criminal threats.
Several warrants with bail totaling over $200,000 have been issued for the arrest of Jonathan Escobar, according to sheriff’s Deputy Eric Caplinger.
Escobar is Hispanic, 5 feet 7, about 125 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He is known to frequent Palmdale and Lancaster, Caplinger said.
Anyone with information about Escobar’s whereabouts was asked to call Detective Manes at the sheriff’s Palmdale station at (661) 272-2437.
