At least four motorcyclists were hurt, and a person in a vehicle was trapped inside it, when a large group of motorcyclists and other vehicles crashed on the Artesia (91) Freeway in Artesia.

Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched at 12:22 p.m. to the eastbound 91 Freeway at Pioneer Boulevard, according to a county fire dispatcher.

A large group of motorcyclists had been on the freeway when the crash occurred, the California Highway Patrol reported.

All lanes of the freeway were closed for about 45 minutes as the wreckage was cleared.
