A vehicle crashed into a commercial building in Lancaster Thursday, leaving two people injured and rupturing a natural gas line.
The crash was reported about 11:30 a.m. in the 44200 block of North Division Street, according to the county fire department.
The natural gas ignited, but firefighters monitored the flame until about 1:55 p.m., when the flow of gas was shut off and the fire was contained, said county fire Inspector Randall Wright.
An occupant of the vehicle was taken to a hospital for treatment of an unspecified injury, and a firefighter who suffered a minor burn also was taken to a hospital, Wright said.
