A truck driver and a person in car were seriously injured in a crash that sent the 18-wheeler into a streetcorner restaurant in South Los Angeles.
The crash was at 3:09 a.m. at Florence Avenue and Hoover Street, according to a watch sergeant at the LAPD’s South Traffic Division.
Paramedics rushed the victims to hospitals, according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The hamburger stand was damaged but allowed to open Sunday, according to reports from the scene.
