A 55-year-old man suffered critical injuries and a 24-year-old man was also injured at a two-vehicle crash in South Los Angeles, a fire official said Sunday.
Firefighters had to extricate the 55-year-old man from a vehicle, but the 24-year-old man, who suffered minor trauma, declined transport to an area hospital, according to Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Firefighters were dispatched at 8:59 p.m. Saturday to the crash in the 1400 block of West 90th Street, where a Department of Water and Power crew also responded due a street light being knocked down, Scott said.
There was no other immediate information.
