A woman in a wheelchair was wounded in a shooting in East Los Angeles Saturday morning.
The woman was hospitalized in stable condition after being shot about 4:30 a.m. in the area of Cesar Chavez and Mednik avenues, where she was found on the sidewalk, sheriff’s department officials told ABC7.
She was not cooperating with investigators and no suspect description was available, according to the sheriff’s department.
