A fire that broke out in the sixth-floor sauna of an eight- story apartment building in Palms was extinguished in 73 minutes by 113 firefighters.
The blaze at 3201 S. Overland Ave. was ignited about 9:15 p.m., Wednesday, according to Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The fire extended to the walls of the sixth floor and the portion of the seventh floor directly above the sauna, Humphrey said.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation, according to Humphrey.
