At least seven people were injured in a fiery crash between an MTA bus and several vehicles in South Los Angeles –two of them were in critical condition.
Los Angeles firefighters were called to 1674 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. at 6:52 p.m., Monday said the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Erik Scott.
Scott said that the bus and a car were damaged by the fire–one report had it that the sedan was destroyed in the blaze.
There were four vehicles damaged. The one vehicle was so well involved in flames it had spread to a portion of the bus.
Six patients were taken to hospitals and one person refused transportation.
Two police officers and a Good Samaritan removed patients from a burning vehicle before the fire department arrived.
Flames were quickly knocked down. The driver was the only person on the bus.
