Four people were reported hurt when a car went off the side of the Ventura (101) Freeway, crashed into a Target store in Northridge and burst into flames, authorities said Monday.
The crash was reported off the Ventura Freeway near the De Soto Avenue off-ramp at about 1:40 a.m. Sunday, said California Highway Patrol Officer Patrick Kimball.
The driver and a passenger were taken to Northridge Hospital and two passengers were taken to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center, Kimball said.
The cause was under investigation, he said.
