A woman crashed her vehicle into a center median and then a house on Paramount Boulevard in Downey Sunday, and police said she was drunk.
The crash was at about 12:55 a.m. on Paramount Boulevard at Gallatin Road, and it caused “major structural damage,” a Downey police officer said.
Nobody inside the house was injured, but the driver sustained minor injuries, police said.
Investigators believed alcohol was involved, and the driver was taken into custody on suspicion of drunken driving, police said.
