
Three men were shot and wounded in the legs in the Pico-Union neighborhood of Central Los Angeles when a suspect fired several rounds into a crowd, police said Sunday.
The shooting occurred around 9:10 p.m. Saturday in the 2100 block of West 11th Street, near Alvarado Street, according to Officer Rosario Herrera of the Los Angeles Police Department‘s Media Relations Section.
The victims were taken to a hospital in stable condition, Herrera said. The ages of the victims were not immediately available.
Officers were investigating what led to the shooting and it was unclear whether it was gang-related.
A suspect description was not made available.
