Authorities Tuesday identified a 37-year-old homeless man who was killed in a drive-by shooting in the North Hills area.
The shooting occurred about 4 a.m. Saturday in the 15500 block of Nordhoff Street, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.
Jose Zeron and another person were walking in the area when a dark- colored, four-door vehicle going eastbound on Nordhoff Street slowed nearly to a stop and the driver fired two shots toward them and then fled, according to police. Zeron’s companion escaped injury.
