An argument during a large birthday party in Palmdale erupted into a shooting where a man was fatally wounded, a sheriff’s deputy said Sunday.
Deputies responded at 11:30 p.m. Saturday to the 38100 block of 50th Street East where they found a man with gunshot wounds, said Deputy Lisa Jansen of the LA Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
The man had been in argument with another man, when he was shot three times in the chest by the suspect, Jansen said. After the shooting the suspect fled in an unknown location.
He was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
No suspect information was available and the case remains under investigation.
