A wrong-way driver and two other people were killed Sunday in a crash on State Route 126, a notoriously-dangerous section of road just west of Valencia.
The crash was at 1:26 a.m. just east of Piru and just west of the Los Angeles-Ventura county line, several miles west of the Golden State (5) Freeway.
CHP officers said a vehicle had been driven on the wrong side of the highway, which crosses the orchard with four lanes with a center left turn lane.
No names were immediately made public.
Highway 126 was closed until 6 a.m.
