A person was shot and wounded in a vehicle that crashed in South Los Angeles Wednesday.
The shooting happened about 4:10 p.m. in the area of Western Avenue and 83rd Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The male victim was in stable condition when taken to a hospital, police said.
No suspect description was made available and it was unclear if any other vehicle was involved in the crash.
