A electrical fire Friday at a one-story home in the Harbor Gateway area did about $100,000 in damage and displaced three residents, authorities said.

No one was injured in the fire, which was reported at 3:09 p.m. at 518 W. 121st St., according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Twenty-six firefighters responded and knocked down the blaze in 21 minutes, Stewart said.

The American Red Cross was helping to provide shelter for two adults and a child, none of whom were at home at the time of the fire, Stewart said.

The fire department also gave the family a $100 Supplying Aid to Victims of Emergency (SAVE) card for immediate necessities, she said.

The cards are provided through the California Fire Foundation.

The fire did an estimated $25,000 in damage to the structure and $75,000 to its contents.
