Police Thursday sought the public’s help in identifying the killer of a 54-year-old man who also wounded a second victim in Boyle Heights.
Officers who responded about 3:50 p.m. Monday to a report of a shooting in the 900 block of South Bernal Avenue found Raul Alaniz Jr. in a converted garage, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Firefighters called to the scene also found another male victim who had been shot multiple times and had apparently run for help, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
