A man suspected of groping two female students at Glendale High School has been was arrested.

Jose Paolo Baroma was arrested at his Glendale home, according to Glendale police Sgt. Robert William.

The incidents occurred on July 12 and Friday, both times shortly before 8 a.m., on the campus at 1440 E. Broadway, William said.

School is not in session, but some summer programs are taking place, he said.

“The same suspect is captured on surveillance footage grabbing the buttocks of female students,” William said. “The suspect is seen sneaking up behind the juvenile victims, grabbing their buttocks, then running off to an awaiting vehicle driven by a second unknown suspect.”

The vehicle was described as early 2000s model white BMW with four doors.

Baroma, taken into custody Wednesday, has no arrest record, William said.

Anyone with information on the case, or who believes they were victimized by the suspect, was urged to call Glendale police at (818) 548-4991.
