Police Thursday arrested four armed robbery suspects who led officers on a car chase from the Canoga Park area to Sun Valley.
The robbery took place before 5 a.m. in the 22000 block of Sherman Way, according to Officer Drake Madison of Los Angeles Police Department Media Relations Section.
There were four suspects in the car when police chased the alleged getaway vehicle through the San Fernando Valley until the driver stopped near the Golden State (5) Freeway where it meets the Hollywood (170 ) Freeway, Madison said.
Two suspects ran from the car and through a pedestrian tunnel under the Golden State Freeway, Madison said. By about 7:30 a.m., three suspects had been taken into custody, and the fourth was taken into custody about 90 minutes later, police said.
There were no further details about the alleged armed robbery nor about the identities of the suspects.
