
Police Monday sought the public’s help in tracking down a suspect who shot three people, killing one of them, in San Pedro.
The fatally wounded victim and the suspect were arguing about 11:35 p.m. Saturday when the unidentified assailant pulled out a handgun and opened fire, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The victim, who was about 36 years old, was pronounced dead at an area hospital. His name was being withheld pending notification of his family.
The other two victims, one of whom is a teenager, were taken to an area hospital by a private party and remain hospitalized in stable condition, according to the LAPD.
The suspect was described only as an Hispanic male.
