Police Thursday were looking for a 91-year-old Santa Ana man last seen Wednesday afternoon.
Zenaido Castro Venegas was reported missing Thursday morning, Santa Ana police Cpl. Anthony Bertagna said.
Venegas’ family “was out looking for him all night,” Bertagna said.
“He doesn’t walk well, doesn’t hear well and is in the early stages of dementia and doesn’t have a car, so they don’t have a clue where he went,” Bertagna said.
Venegas, who was last seen about 1 p.m. Wednesday on McFadden Avenue between Fairview Street and Harbor Boulevard, is also not known to travel by bus, Bertagna said.
The widower had been talking recently about wanting to return to Quechultenango, Mexico, Bertagna said.
Anyone with information about the nonagenarian’s whereabouts was asked to call police at (714) 245-8701 or (714) 834-4211 or missing persons investigators at (714) 245-8393.
