A fire damaged an apartment building in the South Los Angeles area Friday, but no one was hurt.
Firefighters sent to the two-story building in the 8600 block of South Denver Avenue shortly after 1 p.m. extinguished the flames in about 20 minutes, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
The cause of the blaze was under investigation.
