Fire Sunday damaged a one-story commercial building, just southeast of downtown Los Angeles.

Firefighters dispatched at 10:56 a.m. to the 700 block of Gladys Avenue had the fire out within 43 minutes of their arrival, said Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

No injuries were reported, Scott said, and a cause of the fire as well as damage estimates were under investigation.
