Who’s rock-thrower at Glendale business shown in video?

Police Friday released video and still images of a man who threw a rock through the glass door of a Glendale business.

The vandalism occurred about 3:50 p.m. on Sept. 18, a Sunday, at Unlimited Text and Talk Wireless at 304 South Adams St., according to Tahnee Lightfoot of the Glendale Police Department.

Surveillance video shows the suspect walking north on Adams Street and trying the door to the business, which was closed, Lightfoot said.

“He loitered to the front for some time and then picked up a rock next to the building,” Lightfoot said. “He waited for traffic … to clear and then threw the rock through the glass door of the business, completely shattering it.”

The man then ran south on Adams on the west side of the street, Lightfoot said.

He is described as white, 5 feet 9 inches to 6 feet tall with a stocky build, trimmed beard and a moustache.

Anyone with information about the crime or the suspect was urged to call Glendale police at (818) 548-4911. Anonymous tips can be submitted through Crime Stoppers by calling (800) 222-TIPS.
