Police in Azusa Saturday sought the public’s help in finding a missing 11-year-old elementary school girl.
Her worried father told officers that Crystal Martinez, who attends Foothill Elementary School, was last seen about 3 p.m. Friday in the area of Fifth Street and Rockvale Avenue with a school friend, the Azusa Police Department reported.
Martinez’s father, who reported his daughter missing at about 1 a.m., said she occasionally stays out late but does not have a history of running away.
She was described as a 5-feet-7-inch tall Latino girl weighing 160 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black shirt covered by a beige top with pink and red flowers, black leggings and white shoes.
Anyone with information regarding Martinez’s whereabouts was asked to call the Azusa Police Department at (626) 812-3200, and reference case number 16-41907.
