Multiple firearms were recovered from a Pomona home during a search, police said Thursday.

Officers from the Pomona Police Department’s SWAT team and members of the Major Crimes Task Force served a search warrant at 9:40 p.m. Wednesday in the 1000 block of Ashfield Avenue, said Pomona Police Sgt. Michael Lange.

During a search of the residence, officers recovered four handguns including a .40 caliber semi-automatic handgun, a 9mm semi-automatic handgun, a .44 caliber magnum revolver and a .357 caliber revolver, Lange said.

Information about any arrests was not immediately released. The investigation was ongoing.
