At least one man was wounded in a shooting at a McDonald’s restaurant in South Los Angeles and the gunman who fled the restaurant was still at large Monday, Los Angeles Police said.
The shooting at the restaurant near the intersection of Manchester Boulevard and Normandie Avenue was reported Sunday, according to LAPD Officer Sal Ramirez.
Police made entry into the fast food restaurant but the gunman managed to get out before the entry and was still at large, Ramirez said. The victim, who was shot in a leg, was hospitalized.
Traffic near the location was temporarily stopped on both Normandie and Manchester, Ramirez said.
What caused the shooting remains unknown, according to police.
