Sheriff’s homicide detectives were investigating the shooting murder mystery of a man killed Saturday in Hacienda Heights.
The death was reported to authorities a little after 8 a.m. and occurred in the 15800 block of Gale Avenue, according to Deputy Juanita Navarro-Suarez of the LA Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
Deputies responding to the rear parking lot of a shopping center, after receiving a call of a “person not breathing,” found the victim seated in the driver seat of a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper torso, Navarro-Suarez said.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, she said.
