Three juveniles have been arrested in connection with three shootings in the Westlake District that left five people wounded earlier this week, and investigators believe they might have been involved in still more shootings.
The shootings occurred between Monday and Wednesday in the area of Wilshire Boulevard and Witmer Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
“The three shootings resulted in five victims who were struck by gunfire,” according to an LAPD statement.
All three are in stable condition, police said.
The juveniles were arrested on Wednesday.
“During the arrest of the three suspects, evidence was collected that may possibly link them to other shootings,” police said.
The youths were booked at Central Juvenile Hall on Eastlake Avenue, according to the LAPD.
