
A Los Angeles police officer in a patrol car was involved in one of three crashes that occurred Sunday on the Glen Anderson (105) Freeway, where a motorist in one of the crashes suffered major injuries.
The officer was not injured in the crash on the westbound freeway, at South Van Ness Ave., which occurred a little after 5 a.m., according to California Highway Patrol Officer Alex Rubio. There were no other injuries reported.
One of the crashes included a black Honda Accord striking the center divider wall on the freeway, the CHP reported. Another crash involved a vehicle sustaining front-end damage in the HOV lane during a two-vehicle crash.
The roadway was cleared at 6:14 a.m., the CHP reported.
