A woman was fatally shot Wednesday in Highland Park, and her killer remained at large late this afternoon.
The victim was shot by an unidentified man about 11 a.m. in the area of Avenue 56 and Monte Vista Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
It was not immediately clear if the shooting was gang-related, Detective Jose Hidalgo of the LAPD’s Northeast Station told ABC7.
The victim’s name was not immediately released.
