Several dozen customers were left without electricity and cable Thursday after a vehicle crashing into a power pole in Irwindale, police said.

The crash occurred about 10 a.m. on Irwindale Avenue near Tapia Street, the Irwindale Police Department reported. No injuries were reported.

Damage to the pole required shutting off power, along with cable and fiber optic service, to 75-100 customers, police said.

Irwindale Avenue was closed between Tapia and Cypress streets while crews worked to make repairs, which could take until Friday morning, police said.
