The public’s help was sought Monday in locating an 82- year-old man who went missing last week in South Los Angeles and is believed to be without needed medication.
Juan Portillo-Lopez was last seen on Thursday in the 200 block of West 81st Street in the Florence area, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Portillo-Lopez needs medication for an unspecified medical condition, police said.
He is described as Hispanic, 5 feet tall and around 140 pounds. He was wearing a blue jacket, tan pants and a hat with white lettering on it when last seen.
Anyone with information regarding Portillo-Lopez’s whereabouts was urged to call the LAPD’s Missing Person’s Unit at (213) 996-1800 and ask for Detective Roman.
