A man and a woman were found shot to death Friday inside a car that crashed into a front yard in Pomona after a car-to-car shooting, authorities said.

The shooting happened just after 11 a.m. near Larchmont Street and Collingswood Drive, according to Pomona police.

The two victims — a man and a woman said to be between 25 and 30 years old — were confirmed dead by police, but there was no immediate word on what led to the shooting.

The victims were found inside a gray sedan that wound up plowing through a small white fence into a yard.

Paramedics worked to save the two people, but they died at the scene, police said.

No description of the attackers or the other car involved in the shooting was available.
