Things were back to normal Saturday after a big rig overturned on the westbound Foothill (210) Freeway in La Canada Flintridge, spilling diesel fuel into lanes and prompting a closure of some lanes.

The crash was reported at 9:30 p.m. Friday at Foothill Boulevard, according to California Highway Patrol Officer Alex Rubio.

There was a large spill of diesel fuel but Rubio said the fuel did not enter any drains.

The No. 3 and 4 lanes were expected to be closed until at least midnight to allow time to tow the large vehicle and for cleanup of the fuel.

There was no immediate word of injuries.
