Police on Sunday were investigating the fatal shooting of a man walking in the Hyde Park area of Los Angeles.
It happened about 1:15 p.m. Saturday in the 2500 block of East Hyde Park Boulevard, said Lt. Leonard Perez of the Los Angeles Police Department’s 77th Street Station.

The man was walking down the street when a small sedan drove by and multiple shots were fired at him, Perez said.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, he said. No other details were available.
