Police Monday hunted a Hyde Park killer who shot his pedestrian victim from a small sedan as the vehicle slowly rolled along a street in broad daylight.

The victim wass publicly identified Monday as Keyond Brown, 40, of Los Angeles, said coroner’s Investigator Kristy McCracken.

It happened about 1:15 p.m. Saturday in the 2500 block of East Hyde Park Boulevard, said Lt. Leonard Perez of the Los Angeles Police Department’s 77th Street Station.

Brown was walking down the street when a small sedan rolled by and multiple shots were fired at him, Perez said. Brown was pronounced dead at the scene.
