
A power outage affecting more than 2,600 customers in Boyle Heights is expected to be restored late Wednesday morning.
The outage, which at its peak left about 3,400 customers without electricity, was reported about 7:10 p.m. Tuesday, the Department of Water and Power reported. A crew was summoned to the scene to restore power.
As of about midnight, 2,625 customers were still without power, according to the department’s website.
Power is expected to be restored to all customers by 11:30 a.m., the LADWP said on its outage page.
The cause of the outage was not immediately reported.
