Four people were injured, three of them burned, in a stubborn house fire tonight in Arleta, the Los Angeles Fire Department said.

The blaze inside a home at 13762 Glamis St. was reported about 5:20 p.m., according to fire department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.

Three people suffered burns and were hospitalized, Stewart said. A fourth person also was injured and was being treated at the scene.

Their ages and genders were not released.

The department sent 59 firefighters to the scene and extinguished the flames in about 20 minutes, Stewart said.

Because of the injuries an LAFD arson team was dispatched to the site to investigate the cause of the fire, Stewart said.
