A man was struck and killed by at least one vehicle Sunday on the Pomona (60) Freeway at the outskirts of downtown Los Angeles.

The death on the westbound freeway near the connector road to the northbound Santa Ana (5) occurred a little after 6:15 a.m., the California Highway Patrol reported.

A passerby reported to the CHP that she saw the man lying in the No. 4 lane of the westbound freeway prior to his death.
